“Silpanjali” is solely dedicated to preserve, promote and circulate numerous forms of art and culture. It mostly deals with the advancement of literary, visual and performing arts.
With the blessing of Smt. Yamini Krishnamurti in its very inception year in 1987, the organization is consistent in organizing it’s gala event in the name of ‘Silpanjali Festival’ every year where All Bengal One Act Drama Competition, All Bengal Dance-Drama Utshav, All Bengal Talent Search event on painting, recitation, vocal song etc., ’National Level Dance performance of Indian Classical Dance, Puppetry, Awareness programme on burning issues, Workshop , Seminar, Exhibition are important parts.
This institution has been organizing a specific type of cultural activity in the name of ‘Cultural Goodwill Mission’ to other states since 1991. The motto of this activity is to share cultural excellence to the other states. Silpanjali has started its sojourn in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Hariyana, Uttarpradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhyapradesh, Chattisgarh, Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra under this event.
“Silpanjali” also takes a great role in providing pecuniary help to the needy artists associated with the Organization, for continuing their cultural education.
To create ample scope for the pupil of the institution for showing their cultural culmination is most important academic outlook of this institution.
